Bio:

Lily had her first brush with the supernatural as a teenager in the early 60’s. Her boyfriend Saul took her to one on their first date: “The Unknown Creeper”. As part of the promotion, the theater owner dressed as the monster, and ran through the auditorium. Afterward, as they were walking out, Lily found his body in the bushes. He’d been killed the same way as the Creeper’s first victim.

A budding reporter at her school newspaper, she tried to find answers, but the police were no help. When she saw that the Creeper was real, it was laughed off as “female hysteria”. Over time, she found other accounts of horrific creatures, which were subsequently denied by authorities. She became driven to expose the truth.

Today, as a journalist for Freak NJ magazine, Lily talks to many people who encounter the supernatural, and has developed a finely-tuned bullshit detector for filtering out the frauds. She’s sympathetic enough to put witnesses at ease, without coming across as a fanatic. But fanatic she is, as she is building quite a collection of “proof”, and will put herself at risk to find more. She spends much of her time building “Beautiful Mind”-style evidence webs with colored yarn. Lily believes there is an underlying connection to it all, leading back to the Outer Gods of the Cthulhu Mythos. Saul is gone, the children don’t call much, but when she finds the Truth, it will all be worth it.
